This is an interesting thread. One just like this was recently started and killed. Not because the OP got mad or offended.. But because they realized that what they first stated was just incorrect, and not present in this hobby really...

It's a HOBBY.. People can make money doing it, but they have a great passion for learning and animals, particularly reptiles lol. In fact, some of the big breeders (such as BHB) started a business of selling snakes JUST SO THEY CAN BUY MORE REPTILES..

OP, I'm surprised that at your age, you let some people who disagree with you bother you, and you just leave the scene.. That's just immature really..

What you stated in your original post IS your "opinion", but it's an opinion formed by lack of understanding. Ever since I joined, I learned so much from this place. It certainly doesn't feel like the obnoxious forum you described... Maybe it only seems that way from people who can't stand being told they're wrong.. People who post, expecting everyone to agree with them..

Here's my problem with your "defense"... You post your "opinion" ()... Some people did not like how you nay say the hobby and forum... People ask you why for specific examples of people/breeders who are only breeding to make money, and who aren't giving proper care to their snakes.. You don't offer ANY examples. Instead, you run to your corner and throw sand at everyone who repeats the question... Another one of your actions that really speaks out about your maturity is that you only responded to someone who agreed with one of your "points". Lol, I'm going to assume you're just going to ditch this thread much like you ditched the forum when people didn't act the way you wanted them to act... ...

The person who started a thread like this, who realized that she didn't really understand how difficult it is to make money by breeding ball python morphs, actually created a new thread apologizing and owned up to their initial lack of understanding .. That took some balls to admit your wrong.. Remember, if you admit you're wrong, you're right!

So in response to the point you're trying to bring up, OP, you're simply incorrect. Don't worry, it's not the end of the world .. The fact that everybody disagrees with you just means you have more to learn about this hobby.. Perhaps you could get back into BPs, and maybe the bug will hit you... Until then, just own up to you being wrong... It's really not a big deal .




Oh.. And in response to the negative comments about Wilomn... At first I thought he was pretty harsh and "mean".. However, with more time spent on this forum, I noticed he seems to do a pretty good job sweeping away some of the stubborn folks who simply do not understand that not everybody is going to think, act, or react the same way as you..
