you can breed to any morph but the albino gene is recessive so you won't get albinos unless the morph you breed it to is het. albino

    Re: Albino Ball Python Breeding

I owned some snakes for a few years up until last year and now am looking to get some again. My son has always wanted an Albino and I was thinking I would get a second snake and possilbly down the line in the future once I educate myself try to breed at least once and see if I would be interested in doing it, so I was just looking to see with having the Albino what might be a good second snake to get to possibly breed it to. So if you bred an Albino to a Spider or Bumble Bee what would you get?

Thank you. I'm not sure if I'm even going to try to breed, I may just buy the Albino and then just buy another morph that I like and call it good. Of course finding a morph I like at a good price isn't easy it seems! lol

Out of curiousity how do you get the other types of Albino's like Albino Spider, Lavendar Albino etc... Would it be by breeding a spider to a het Albino, so on and so forth?

    Stickies are your friend http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...Basic-Genetics

The example in the thread even uses albinos, specifically.

look around on kingsnake you might find something you like.

as for albino spiders you can breed an albino to a spider het. albino. as for lavender albinos since both are a different gene you will have to breed a pair of normals double het.albino and lavender albino.
