Here's Rocco fat and happy in his warm hide after nailing a pre-killed rat. He did not eat last week. But I figured out that the Rat I was offering was way too big for him. So today I gave him an appropriate one. He nailed it. The. He was trying to swallow it sideways. After a minute or two, he dropped it and then gulped it right down head first. This is feed #2 since I've had him, plus a shed and a poop. I must be doing something right. My kids are already pushing for snake #2. My daughter wants a Jungle Carpet Python. Not sure I'm ready for that. LOL. We will see.

Yay fat and happy snakes! They are quite addictive. I currently have two and I would like a whole lot more. Not sure what the wife thinks about it but she will come around. My smallest recently ate and I swore I heard a burp when he was done. XD Afterwards he crawled into his warm hide and slept the rest of the day.
