Can BELs get other genes?
I was wondering if it is possible to add another codominant gene to a BEL, like people often do with ivories, and can there be a pastel BEL, or an enchi BEL, or a fire BEL?

Yes. You can.
You don't see many people doing 3+ gene BELs. And if there is a pinstripe or spider gene in it, you can see it's pattern under a black light.

Sure why not. Just wont see much of a pattern since it is an all white snake. Only way to know if it has something else is to breed it.

BEL clown also shows pattern, in fact even your standard super butter shows the butter pattern under the white.
The BEL I will be breeding this coming season is pure white but the pattern isn't too hard to see under that white.

LadyOhh has a pastel super mojave, with an obviously lighter head. Even if you can't seen the pattern easily in the BEL, it does make it a more powerful breeder. And I bet it's pretty obvious in "darker" BELs like crystals and purple passions etc.

I am expecting a clutch to hatch any day from a pastave het pied x pastave het pied. Kinda hoping not to get any bels lol! I will keep all bels to prove them out!
