    Holy heat wave, Batman!

Do any of you guys live in an area (which is pretty much all of the country right now) that it's close to 100 degrees outside, and you don't have A/C in your house? It's getting wayyyyy too hot in my room and I'm getting nervous about my snakes. What do you guys do?

It's 81 here right now, and we have ac running in the living room. I have heard of people turning off their snakes heat if ambient is getting too high. You can also freeze water in 2 liter bottles and set them behind fans. I think I would die if it was 100.....yuk.

Shut off the heat. In the beginning of the summer before we put the AC in it was high 80s (ambient temp in my room) for like a week. I had the heat off the whole week and all the kiddos were just fine.

Theyll be fine. As long as the ambient is 85+ degrees i would keep it off. Just a suggestion, my none expert opinion

Don't know where you're at, but if you shut the heat off and you're in more of a desert climate you might want to keep an eye on the temps at night when it cools off a bit.

Bah I live in Oklahoma where until the past week we had a long streak of 110+ days. Just like last summer. Lucky for me I have central heat and air so I keep my house about 74-76 year round. I simply close the air vents in the snake room and the ambients go from 78-82 depending on outside temp.
