    Soaking for shed?

So my young male started the shed process earlier this week and when I checked on him Thursday night he was soaking himself in his water. ok thats fine, never had a bad shed with him anyways. He's still sitting in his water bowl as of Saturday morning and I don't this he's left it. Should I take it out so he will actually finish his shed? He should have shed by now.

What is the humidity at in your snake's enclosure? What are you measuring it with? He could be soaking because you do not have adequate humidity for him while he is in shed.

Regular gauge but he's in a rack and has never had problems. I let it get up close to 70 when shedding. it's almost as if he just isn't getting it started.

He will come out when it's time to shed, they always do.
