They can eat items that are too big and will have to regurg them. Google images of snake regurg. You will notice alot of wild snakes, very large wild snakes having to regurg huge items.
I use store bought filtered water for my misting bottle and misting machine but use tap for their drinking water. I only use the store bought water to keep the misting from spotting the tanks.
