Pocket knife recommendations?
First off... I'm a procrastinator... Haha! I need to get my groomsmen some kind of gift before my wedding next friday. Our friend got his groomsman pocket watches and no one has used them sense the wedding so I was thinking something a little more useful and settled on getting them knives and getting them engraved.
I was looking for something around $40 or $50. I wanted to get them the gerber bear gryls fixed blade but changed my mind to something folding so they could use it day to day without having to carry a sheath.
I like the gerber essentials one thats an assist open. Has anyone used this knife? I think it's called 'instant' but I'm not 100% on the name. Just looked at them really quick on my break.
I don't like that they don't come in little boxes anymore... How are you suppose to see if you like it if it's stuck in a blister pack?

I am a gun and knife guru. I received a knife as a groomsman once and thought it a great gift, and your right I use it. Nothing against Gerber, they make a great product but for a wedding and the special event I would go with a nice Case Trapper. This is a great site I have used before and they will engrave the knife and they have good prices.Case knives also come in nice gift style boxes.
I thought this one was a good fit for a wedding.

But you could make it really special and pick a different handle for each guy.

Case are great knives that hold a edge and will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

This Kershaw is another one I own and have really enjoyed. They are assisted opening and hold a great edge. They are stout little knives that again are well priced. These you can get the blade or the handle engraved.

I like all of those but that white case trapper is awesome! I'm going to have to check out shipping to see if it will make it here on time when I get off work.
Thanks a lot guys!

You mean I won the contest.
I thought it fit the occasion as soon as I saw it. Get yourself one too but get the date on it so you will always know your anniversary. Not that we would every forget something like that.

I have a swiss army knife. Had it in my purse for probably 15 years. I love it, and can't even tell you how much I have used it.
Congrats on your wedding, too.

I girl with a knife, that's just sexy! I have more knives than I can count. I am waiting to take delivery of this 100% handmade stag handle 10 1/2 blade Bowie. Just needs some fine touches and polishing.
Why you ask? One word ZOMBIES!!!

I like victornix (swiss army knives) and kershaw. Ive also heard good things about case and bench made i think. Also jinx showed me the ESEE knives. Those things are sweet, they make some cool knives. I suggest not getting anything too big though bc then it wouldnt be all too useful to them. I know in CT if your caught with anything longer than 4 inches its illegal.
