    My Poor Little Plop :(

Well Plop, my little crested gecko, got out sometime last night and the cats got a hold of him. When I discovered him this morning it was too late. RIP little Plop! You weren't even big enough for me to know your gender! He was a good little gecko...he loved his daily "rain showers" and banana CGD.

Sad story. I assume you're now more vigilant about securing your other animals' enclosures? Hopefully the others can at least benefit from Plop's unfortunate fate...

Really? I don't think this is the time or place for that.

I am so sorry to hear about poor little Plop. I love his name too.

What other time or place is there for it? Clearly this wasn't the fault of any of the animals involved - I'm just hoping an important lesson has been learned here. If you see my post as vindictive, I guess that's your business, but the intent is to ensure that the same fate doesn't befall further cute little critters, not to protect the feelings of uninvolved third parties (or anyone, really).

Kat was here before me, pretty sure she has a good grip on her animals. Don't think she needs scolding.
