    Rocco is shedding.

We are very excited. Rocco is shedding for the first time since we got him. Which explains why he would not eat yesterday after nailing the rat I gave home a week ago. Can't wait for tomorrow morning to see how he looks in his new skin. I jacked the humidity to the high 70s.

Did he actually start shedding?? I was convinced one night, that our snake was going to shed. I kept peeking in the room where her tank is at- hoping to see it happen. Never happened that night. 4 days later she finally shed.

and yes.. its VERY exciting when they do for the first time. And their skin is amazing afterwards

He finished shedding. He has one piece stuck near his head. I left the humidity level elevated. Hopefully he gets it off by himself. He also left me a nice smelly poop. Lol. I peeked in on him this morning. Looks so nice all clean and bright.

Kasi had her first shed with us last week and I was amazed how different she looked.
