There was a good place up in Columbia and a great herp club through Mizzou. The pet store is Columbia Pet Center and the guys who were running things when I were there actually bred reptiles as well. They were always willing to talk and help no matter how busy the place got also. If nothing else, they might be able to put you in contact with local breeders.
