I thought it was a little weird too...They've had the snake for 4 years after they rescued her from the folks who cause the tail incident...but even if it's her "thing"...To me if quacks like a duck and looks like a duck...it's probably a duck...and it needs to be seen by a vet.

She has to be treated as a special case because of all the anti-biotics and such she was on when her tail went necrotic and fell off. The toxicity of that cocktail was pretty pronounced. This is why my vet is cautious to see if we can get her feeling better without going down that route initially. She'll go back to the vet in a few days and we'll decide then what to do.
