    Possible new addiction?

When I first started looking at this forum I thought I was only get to get to a ball python. And then I spent some time around snakes and decided I wanted something a bit bigger. So I got a red tail boa. Now... Only a week or two later I am already to figure out what I am going to get next... and what to get after that... and that haha

The crazy part is about half a year ago I was terrified of snakes and reptiles. And then I actually spent time around and noticed that they incredibly interesting and dare I say nice/kind animals as long as they are treated fairly and you know what you are doing when around them...

Welcome to the addiction. I started out with an anole and it went downhill from there. Been breeding snakes for about 10 years now and have a small zoo in my home. Just be sure to always research the ones you're interested in before bringing them home and you'll be set!

    haha welcome.

friendly word of advice though, give it some time young avid one.

There's nothing worse than bitting off more than you can chew, or afford.

    ----

I started off with one ball python, and it quickly grew to 10 balls, and 2 boas within the next 6 months. The boas alone cost me $40.00 a month. Another $80 or so for the pythons.. $2.00 a week doesn't sound bad when you think about feeding a snake but when you multiply that 10 fold, or 20, or 30 it gets a little harder haha.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

As much as I want to go out and get a new little friend. (ball python or leopard gecko) I know I will be waiting until at least october! :/
It seems SOOO far away though ahaha. I am hoping to find an albino ball python at reptile show in my area then however. So it will be worth the wait. And plus if I wait I can make sure I don't bite off more then I can chew or pay for.
