Do you insure your ball pythons?

I love all my ball pythons not to mention my other animals. I was wondering did you think it's wise think to insure them. I actually have but just wondering is it really worth it especially since I've house insurance . I don't think snake coverage is on the list. I'm also looking to expnd my collection.
    Thanks

I have been thinking about this myself. I know that my home owners insurance does not cover pets and I have been looking to get something that will for the peace of mind. Who will give this sort of coverage?

I've heard that The Hartford is doing livestock insurance, so that would probably be your best bet on something like that. My business is considered a "farm" when I do my taxes and the vet treats my collection as a "herd" as there's not any categories for snake businesses. The insurance is really expensive though!

How much do you pay to insure them? I ask as I am in the process of expanding my collection and would be interested in insuring it. Thanks.

My vet had some info last time I went on health insurance for pets (not the kind for this topic but somewhat related), which I've been mulling about for a while, but I haven't looked into it all that deeply. After the "Your mojave had weird results but he isn't sick" experience it seems like it'd be helpful to cover the $250 tests
