Does it matter what you cut the eggs with?
Now I know you obviously dont want to take a steak knife to the egg but is there one kind of scissors that work better then another? Im an EMT so I have my trauma shears and wanted to know if thoes would be ok or if I should get something smaller.

No on the trauma shears. If you carry the same as my fiance does, they are waaaaay too big and with the weird tip it would be difficult to be precise.
Go with manicure scissors, they are perfect!

Yep, hes a paramedic and those are the ones! I guess you COULD use them.. But I wouldn't. They are just too big and hard to get close with.

Candle first to determine location of larger blood vessels, and using a pen or pencil, mark a spot that is free of them. Start there for your initial snip.

A lot of people use razor blades. I use suture scissors my mom gave me, she's a nurse so she has a lot of extra supplies.

Something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Small-Cuticl...item3cc6fd10bb, been using the same pair since 2008. (They're my lucky scissors )
