What would you put in a 4'X2'X18" cage?
I have a Boaphile cage that my boa used to live in when I had her that is collecting dust in the garage. It has floor heat and a radiant heat panel, so that is covered.
If you had this cage what would you put in it. I have a few ideas, but I want to hear yours!

I'd go with an adult blood or short tail but only because I'm partial to them.

Carpet python or a Green tree. Once you have an nice cage set up or either of them, nothing beats them in show piece quality. Both are amazing and nice naturalistic cages(or some what naturalistic) makes them something everyone will talk about.
Woulnt go monitor, nails would scratch the cage right up, and 18 inches is not deep enough for them to be able to have a good amount of substrate, and not tall enough for arboreal monitors.

i agree with carpet python, mine are quite active and im sure would take full advantage of the height if I gave it to them. mine are in 36x30x12 cages. Seems like the rest of my animals in display cages (bearded dragons and gtps) just sit there all day and do nothing lol. if I walk in the room my carpets perk up and check out what im doing, they will even interact with me if I pay attention to them. sometimes they will pace in front of the cage when they are hungry lol. great animals imo.

I just ordered that size cage from Repti-Rack for my adult red blood python. I would suggest that. She is very sweet and very thick. She is actually around my neck now. She can hang out all day.
