acurite thermometer or other?

What is the indoor outdoor thermometer everyone is using? Acurite correct? I am in Germany and I want to order one off of Amazon and I want to find the correct thing.

I tried to find it on your Amazon but German was kicking my butt. I did find this one which I liked the look of. It has indoor and outdoor for temp and humidity. Seem to get good reviews but I couldn't read them.

This is the one alot of us use. Maybe you can have better luck searching your Amazon than I did. I have one and really like it.

I can order from amazon.com, I am still in the military so it can ship to my APO! I just know everyone says they buy them at walmart or wherever, I just didnt know which one exaclty everyone seems to like.

Oh I see. Even being in Houston I don't have a Wal-Mart close so I ordered it. I like it alot. It has memory for both the temp and humidity and is backlit which is great for night checks.

They do not come with batteries so make sure you have some or order some.

I work with instruments professionally, the accurite is no better than any other cheap thermometer. The accuracy is spec'd the same +/-2ºF. I have had 3 units one of the three was actually inside these specs the others returned as they were beyond. I would suggest buying any cheap unit you can get and buy a few 3 at least and 5 would be better this way you can compare them against each other and only use the ones that read the same. The 'same readers' usually are very close to accurate. I have been buying cheap ones off ebay and generally only 1-3€ each. The last set are single probe displaying both temp and rh.
