    First refusal

I didn't start this because I'm freaking out or anything, I just wanted to get some opinions. My pastel just went over 1300g and today is the first time he ever refused to eat. He usually eats any time shed or not. He is currently just starting the shed process, really dull but eyes not clouded yet. I was feeding every 7 days but I want to know if you guys think I should change him to a 10 day schedule now?

Yea but that has never mattered to him before. He eats when his eyes are clouded up.

My 1250 gram normal just did the same thing. He has always been a garbage disposal.

I know that you can I was simply asking everyone if they think his current weight is a good time to start. I planned on changing his schedule anyway I was just planning on it being later down the road... Oh well I guess he's a ten dayer now.

    Thank you everyone

Why would you stretch him to ten days, especially as large as he is? My breeder males get offered a small rat every 7 days. My bee male is over 1600g and bred 6 females this past season.

Well my thought was that it would decrease my chances of refusal. He's eating medium rats and I saw on here some people go to ten day schedule when they get to a certain weight.
