    For a baby you need

A 15 quarts tub at the very most or a 10 gallons tank

2 tight identical hides (avoid log hides they are not the best)

    Thermostat

    Heat Pad

    DIGITAL thermomether/Hygrometer

    Water bowl

Aspen, cypress mulch or news paper for bedding

I would not recommend buying one of their snake kit, one it will include things you do not need, two the tank will be over sized.

    easy list
    1) tank(size depends on snake)
    2) heat pad
    3) thermostat(i like herpstats)
4)hides(i like RBI hides) NO half logs!
5)substrate(i use unprinted news paper in tubs and cypress in cages)
6)water bowl(i suggest dog bowls easier to clean that the "reptile bowls"(no weird ridges in them))
    7)branch/climbing decor is optional
    8) a piece of plexi glass to cover the top of the cage when shedding/ if your room gets to cold-remember screen tops let out a lot of heat(heat rises) and a lot of humidity
    9)spray bottle
    10) snake
    Done
    hope it helps

dang deborah beast me too it

    1 tank
    1 under tank heater
1 thermostat (you will probably have to order)
    2 hides
    1 water bowl
Bag of substrate (unless your using newspaper)

Also depending on your house and the temperature you keep it you may need a heat lamp to keep the ambient temp up.

I would price it separate. The kit will not have everything you need and some things you don't.

20 gallon would be huge for a hatchling, most people keep their hatchling/babie in 6 or 15 qt tubs.

have you done any reading on ball pythons? such as some books? or just internet research?
if only internet research just remember anyone with a comp and internet access can be a "expert" on any subject. you can not imagine how many terrible blogs i have seen about "experts" say ball pythons get 8-10 feet and will eat a rabbit every 2 weeks.
