    Cool I'm seeing red

First up is my new red male Torch from Altitude Exotics.

Then to my complete surprise I caught one of my little ones fired up for the first time. I've had this gecko for a while, but it never seems to want to fire up. It's 7.7g right now and I hope it gets more red as it grows and doesn't turn out to be male.

    Unfired last weekend:

How much does that male up top weigh? He looks good. Doesn't have the 'belly' that my boys have, but then again, my boys are just piggies, haha!

Congrats on getting a fired up shot of that little guy! Once it's older, I'm sure it'll fire more readily. I've heard so often of babies not really getting their 'color on' until later. Love the laterals on the baby though.

    Thank you.

Torch is 24.0g. He just arrived Thursday morning so his belly might be a little empty due to the stress of shipping. I'm sure he'll start eating again soon.

The little one has been changing in color. It was more of a yellow gold color when I got it, but I haven't seen it fired up since. Regardless of its adult coloration I'm glad it's mine, I just hope it stays red.

    Thank you.

I am really happy with my new male. He's going to be the start of my red project. You should show your cresties off even if they are little so we can all watch them grow too.
