    Breeder has mites

I just discovered that my breeder female has mites.

Whats the recommendations for ridding her of them? Her 5 babies have them too and now I cant feed them off to the snakes.

I'm cleaning her set-up now, but I do I treat her? Do you use POM on rodents?
My ultimate goal is an Albino Clown Pied.

I have had great success with the Hot Shot No Pest Strips.

I had an outbreak (I believe) from some feeder rats I purchased at a pet store about 8 months ago. My racks were all infested by the time I noticed. I hung one of these in my snake room, and within a week they were all dead and gone. Thoroughly cleaned the racks, and left the strip up for another month, and have not seen another mite since.

I now keep one of these in my garage as well (where I keep my breeder rats). I am not 100%, but I don't believe "snake" mites are the same as "rat" mites; however, this will take care of them either way.
