    heston in his new home

    i got tired of the look of hestons rub type enclosure so i bought him a faunarium thing. it looks pretty awesome and should do him for a while.

    heres some pics:





    And this one so you can get an idea of the size of him (next to my ipad) hes about 2ft now:

    Way too much humidity will escape. You will see poor sheds and other shedding issues, as well as respiratory issues if you don't cover up the ventilation. Seems more trouble than it's worth. I would just get a screen top and use the foil treatment to keep humidity.

    Definately grab some foil tape to tape up alot of those vents. As hooblah said you'll end up having issues.

    dam, when i had that faunariumthe humidity was great, i had a perfect shed... i thought they was really quite good, i hardly ever covered the top and humidity stayed around 60-65%.

    But i switched to a tub, due to the faunarium breaking all the time, but i now prefer the top i just find it so much easier to deal with etc...

    i just like the look of the fauns. much clearer than the £5 rub type container i had before.

    my pacman frogs in there now but its an upgrade from his tiny faun so he wont be complaining!

    I think once you get most of the vents covered it should be alright. It's definitely easy to see through!
