New to Site - Couple questions
Hi all, I am new to the site. I recently have started in the BO breeding scene and are starting with some of the basic morphs out there. Currently in our collection we have the following:
- 1:1 Jungle/Lemon Pastel (180g:420g)
- 0:1 Axanthic (460g)
- 0:1 Pinstripe (870g Breeder Ready)
- 0:1 Spider (300g)
- 1:0 Mojave (900g Breeder Ready)
- 0:1 Lesser Blackback (100g)
- 0:1 Het Pied Female (400g)
- 0:1 Possible Double Het Tribal Caramel (500g)
- We will be looking to add a sable and a Pied male by the end of the year.
We currently are housing them in a 5 drawer RhinoRaxx rack system with thermostat.
I am excited to become part of the forums. I did have a couple questions?
We use a temp gun, what temp do you guys strive for on your snake's surface? I have the thermostat set for 91 and their surface temp is running about 86 degrees on average. Although the top of the rack seems to run about 2 degress higher than the bottom.
Our first clutch we are aiming for a Jigsaw (Mojave x Pinstripe) and have recently heard grumblings about neuro problems (similar to spider wobble but worse) with this morph but have heard to varying degree and I cannot find information on this anywhere. Have you guys heard of this and if so is it common? Is it enough to not breed them?
Thanks for everything!
