    Re: Time for larger mice?

I'm new to the scene but would say yes. I actually ended up doing the rule of 4 feedings and bumping up so I've never had to feed 2. However I just posted a thread saying I've gone from XL mice to rats. I think some of the rats I have are not much if any bigger than the XL mice. I may have to feed 2 like you are now until I move up a size.

Buy yourself a scale that weighs in grams from walmart and that will give you an idea of how much you should be feeding you snake. Your going to want to offer 10-15% of the animals body weight ever 5-7 days.

I bought a digital scale at wallymart for $20. I use a .99c shoebox ontop of the scale to get my 0 reading first. Drop the mouse or rat in, then mark it in my book to whatever snake I feed.

    I have it like this

date food (size and animal) Pee'd Poo'd Shed Weight (then I just go down the list on the page to what I did that day to whatever snake)
