Great pic, very cute little guy. Thanks for sharing.

This is me in the Everglades last Jan (2011)

A closer shot of this big guy. I think he was in the 12+ foot range. Easily could have taken me down for sure.

Might as well throw this guy in. He was one of the handlers. He did an amazing job with this one.

Lol we do have a lil bit of everything! I've joked around about charging people $3 admission, then we can do $5 a picture with the gator or one of the large snakes.

Come on Mike, I'll take your pic standing next to the rattler enclosures
Awesome! He is a frigging fatty too! What size enclosure is he in?

Anyone else think that the original photo is not an alligator?
    Herps are cool.

One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.

It probably isnt, I titled it "Gator pic" in a general sense. Like saying "Snake pic" and showing a picture of a burm. It would be nice to have it identified, I sure dont have a clue what it is.

Looks like a Caiman to me! Make sure you get permission to post images from other users, especially from other forums. Providing a link to the image is different than posting an image on someone's behalf without prior consent. As a photographer, I'm honored when people want to share my shots, but not when I find them spammed all over the place without me knowing about it!

Common Caiman from down in Panama this past November :-)

I thought Cuvier's at first, but the more I look at it I'm pretty sure it's a spectacled caiman.

Oh thatd be fine lol, just as long as the cage stays shut. I dont think me going to heathers house would be a good idea. Her daughter(s?) would be handling all the critters and make me look like a big sissy haha.

Also ive been to PA quite a bit. There are a TON of horses there. Like everywhere. Noooo thank you, i prefer to keep my limbs intact.
