    New pickup! Help ID morph?

Just picked up this proven breeder female crestie. She is gorgeous! I'm not good with crestie morphs so any help would be nice. I was thinking she might be a harlequin....

    Oooh, she's pretty!
Hard to tell on the morph - She has some Harlequin in her, minor pinstriping and some Tiger in her. Very nice! So I guess I'd say a Yellow Tiger Harlequin with Pinstriping, myself.

If she does lay eggs, VERY CAREFULLY remove them from her enclosure and put them in either Reptibark or verminculite (<--- Might have mispelled that, lol) and keep them moist. Before you remove them, tho, find a marker and very very lightly mark the top of the egg - this way, you won't roll them. If they are rolled, you will most likely kill the babies. Also, she might burry them - mine always make me dig for the eggs! XD

Once the babies have hatched, keep them on paper towels (damp) in separate enclosures - I would recommend small critter keepers. After the first 24 hours, offer them some repashy and a few pinhead crickets. They grow up fast!

Congrats on the new addition, and best of luck on the eggs! ^.^
(Wait to you see your first baby - OMG they are so CUTE!!!)

Id mostly agree with the above but the Harley part. She looks like a yellow and cream tiger fire. Not really enough pinstriping to say pinstripe. Crestie morphs can be interpretated in various ways though.

It is hard to put ones finger on the exact morph of a Crested, yeah. I did say "some" pinstriping because, while it's not a full Pinstripe, there is some there. She looks like a yellow version of my male, who gave me a full Pinstripe this season - she'll make gorgeous babies, whatever she is!

Tell me about it! Females are hard as heck to find, and expensive when you do find 'em! Wish I had spotted this lil' girl, lol. Three out of my four females I got out of luck - raised from hatchlings. The fourth I saved up for, for several months.

Try Kingsnake.com, tho - sometimes you'll catch a female there at a decent price.

Great! so "yellow and cream tiger fire" or "Yellow Tiger Harlequin with Pinstriping" are places for me to start when trying to tell people what morph she is, if the question comes up.

I actually got her from a guy on craigslist who was trying to get rid of 1.3 cresties and their set ups for $300! I only needed 1 female though and he gave her to me for $75 plus some CGD and a cute little critter keeper for me to travel with.

He still has 1.2 geckos available. He is near Tampa, FL. I don't know if he would be willing to ship but if you are in that area you should send him a message!

I couldn't believe she was only 75 bucks considering most breeder size females I've seen at shows have been closer to 150 or 200 and they weren't even as pretty as this girl is.

Since you guys are on a roll, mind taking a stab at what morph(s) my male is? I got him as a baby and just enjoyed having him as a pet but now I want to take a little venture into breeding

These pictures are about 2 or 3 months old

Wow! Gorgeous girl, but I couldn't even begin to pin her morph - Tiger sounds about right. Your boy tho - holy cow! He looks like what my should be once he's all grown up. I'm thinking a halloween (orange and black/brown harlequin) by the photos. Otherwise a cream and brown harlequin, if the color's just distorted by the camera. Very nice boy, I'll be excited to see the babies if you're planning on breeding him with that girl!

Wow, VERY nice boy there!!! He's gorgeous!

Side markings aren't high enough for Harlequin, but he's beautiful all the same. He's a very nice and very dark Chocolate Fire or maybe a DarkFire, I'd say. I actually have a breeding pair of Halloween Harlequins, and they have more orange in them.

Those two will make stunning babies for you. ;D
Wish I lived near Florida, lol. X3
