How is my snakes rate of growth?

We have been feeding our BP following some advice back in February when we got her, about 12 % of her body weight every 5 to 7 days. She loves her meals. In six months she has gained 800 grams but only about 5 or 6 inches in length. She is currently 34 inches long and 1030 grams. Roughly 130 grams per month but in the last thirty days it was more like 250. We haven't changed the feeding habits at all and have been consistent with that 12% since February. Not sure why the spike this month? Do snakes have "growth spurts"? Does our snakes rate of growth sound reasonable? Based on what we were told when we bought her we believe she is 9 months old. My wife is convinced she is going to be a big one. What do you think?

Your snake sounds like she is doing great! Everything sounds perfect, and yes snakes do have growth spurts. She sounds like she could get huge!
