Placing the animal in the same room is not quarantine.

Quarantine means the animal must be kept away (different room) from your current collection.

You will need to have a separate set of husbandry tool.

You will need to work with your established collection first and the quarantined animal last.

If you offer food to the quarantined animal and he does not eat food should not be offered to your established collection.
