I might be overreacting, but I'd like some opinions.

So I just got finished feeding my 7 month old BP and saw something a little concerning. As she was finishing her small rat, there was a small white piece of something hanging out the side of her mouth. It looks almost like a small piece of wax paper and sounded hard as she moved against the paper towels along the side of her tub. A friend of mine thinks that it may be a piece of shed/skin but it her shed was 6/13 and the time before that was in march. I don't think she is going to go into she'd for another few months. I am concerned that she might have hurt herself with her rodent. The weight and width were in the appropriate range for her weight and size. She did seem to have some trouble getting over the hind haunches but she managed. I will try to get pictures in a couple days if it is still there. I want to give her some time to digest before I accost her for an examination. Any ideas of what this might be? I know this is a little hard to determine without pictures, but I will get some as soon as possible. Has anyone had anything like this happen to their snake? I'm freaking out a little bit.

Gonna be tough to diagnose something wrong over the internet. What substrate is she on?

    That cat's something I can't explain...

She is on paper towels. I know that this may be a little difficult at the moment, as it just happened about 20minutes ago, I was jut wondering if anyone has heard/seen this before. If it is still there after a few days, I'm going to take her to the vet.

Could it be a piece of the paper towel substrate?

I dont think so. The spot where she was eating was not near the edge. I will check on her tonight and see if it is still there. My fiancee is taking a day off work on thursday (next week), if it is still there i am going to have him take her to the vet. I was really worrying about her last night. I really hope it is nothing serious and I am freaking out over nothing. I will try to get pictures as soon as I can.

And again, as I mentioned in the subject line....probably overreacting. I checked her out when I got home today and didn't see the thing that was in her mouth yesterday. I didn't get a lot of time to look since she was getting a little nervous, so I put her back in her hide and I will give her a better look over in a few days.
