I cut one day early as one of the eggs wasnt looking great it became really moldy all of sudden only to find out why. Looks like i hit the super but it was dead. the other egg i cut an is a healthy looking normal. Hopefully in september the remaining three cinny x cinny eggs will hatch a super. Huge bummer as my b day(the 26th also marks 6 months since my mom passed away) Gotta take the good with the bad as the normal looks super nice an im hopin its a she.

Wishing you the best Heather. Hopefully ill be able to hit another one in sept.
That's really sad. Did you check for any kinking, wrapped umbilicus, or under development?

Kinked in three spots no wrapped umbilicus. Its a total bummer

thank you. The normal looks a lil on the small side as these eggs were from a smaller girl 1400 grams when she laid. She eats like a beast so next year i should have 4 different clutches from cinny x cinny which deff helps my odds for next season. I had a ruff season to start with loosing eggs an now the super. fingers crossed the last 10 eggs hatch healthy an problem free
Fingers crossed here. Do you think the small female is to blame? Im really trying l nail down the reason for the lack of survivability of the supers. Maybe a 2500g female and an older males genetics would work it through.

Thank you. Could very well be the problem but still unsure. Hopefully someone with experience can chime in about these supers as this is the first year im attempting to produce some. The baby looks to be larger than the normal in the egg so it was deff healthy up to a certin point. The female that laid these eggs was a 2 year old 1400 gram female. The second clutch of cinny x cinny was the same male hes around 2.5 years old with a 2000 gram 07 female. She laid 4 big eggs an one has gone bad about 10 days into incubation. Its gonna be a long wait to sept as im really hoping i can hit on the odds again.
