So you're the one that got him!
I also e-mail Sherry about him and she told me that someone had put a deposit on one of the pastels.
At least he went to a good home!

Yep. We got him and love him. His colors, patterns and blushing are amazing. Can't wait til he is settled in.

Well, a few more firsts for us today. On top of our first snake, we've now had our first snake poop and pee. I noticed the ground by the cool side hide was wet but thought it was just spilled water from the water dish. I just went to double check and found it was pee and also found a small smelly poo which I dropped directly into to the water dish while picking it up. Lol. Everything is all clean and Rocco is back to being undisturbed. He's looks like he hasn't moved a muscle since going into the warm side hide. A hiding BP is a Happy BP, right? My kids can't believe that we finally have him. Now I'm a bit stressed because I just want to make sure we are doing everything right so he stays happy and healthy.

He's pretty! You need a better picture of his whole body! As long as you keep him feeling secure, small snug hides, not too much open space, and the right temps you should be good!

Here you go, SS. He was out cruising and I got this pic.

Well we've had Rocco for a few days. We were at the reptile store getting crickets for our geckos and got to talking with one of the guys there about feeding our snake. Since Rocco has been pretty calm and since his last feeding was the 14th, I decided to give it a try. This was our first snake feeding of any kind so we were pretty excited and nervous. We bought a small, live rat (approx 65g). I placed it in the tank and Rocco nailed it pretty quickly. Very awesome sight. I stuck around and watched so the rat did not bite or scratch. I had to hold the back feet down with the forceps for a minute. Then we left him alone to swallow. Went back in after 20 minutes or so and just the back feet and tail were left. A few minutes later just a big lump in His belly. Now he is chilling in his hot side hide. We are going to try fresh killed next week.
