I dont know about sentimental but a couple of songs that gives me chills everytime I hear them are O holy night (particularly if its Martina McBride or Catherine Jenkins singing it) and Mary did you know.... I do love christmas and the "real" christmas music not those annoying christmas rock songs. It is weird though cuz I am not religious at all. They just get me...

Re: Songs that have a sentimental value to you.

Pearl jam-come back. It is one of the most emotional songs there is. If you've ever lost someone one close to you and that song doesn't touch you, your Prozac dose is waaaay too high.

Oh yeah! I try not to listen to it while I am driving cuz I will go off in my own world and then when I come back to reality somebody's really pissed off at me... Or worse.

Really anything from those cheesy 1990s male-pop bands has the potential to choke me up ... Backstreet boys, NSYNC, Westlife ... all so reminiscent of my middle school days. Plus, I still remember the lyrics to most of them, so once I listen to them once again, I sing them in the shower for days ... which in itself is oddly nostalgic.

I love brand new. I listened to them a lot during high school as well.
My favorite song is by the dresden dolls song called Delilah. Reminds me of too many things.
