How is an Albino Het Clown possible?

Browsing snakes and came across an "Albino Het Clown" being sold. Based on my very limited genetics understanding... How would you have a het gene when the recessive albino(showing) would have already taken a matched pair?

Its possible to have that. Its a visual albino that had a Clown parent. Which renders it Visual Albino het. Clown. The parents could have been Albino Clown x Albino or something.
But being albino het clown, that means the clown gene isn't not visually showing. It is an albino carrying the clown gene.

There can be multiple sets of recessive genes in a single snake, just as there can be multiple sets of dominant genes. The important thing is do they sit on the same allele ? For example, a ball can be both pied and albino, which are both recessive. It will be visual for both morphs. But certain genes which sit on the same allele one will cancel the other out.

I can't remember exactly which ones do that, someone help me out with that ?

Fascinating!! Breeding isn't something I'm equipped to do at this point in life, but dang if I don't completely understand why people enjoy it! It's like an odds-loaded math problem. :-)

Great explanation. A few examples that are allelic are YB with Specter (makes Superstripe) YB with Gravel (Highway) YB with Spark (Puma) and the BEL complex morphs (Butter, Lesser, Mojave).
