    well your super lucky!
Finding your snake before you go through the stress of looking for her.

Our lucy rat snake was missing for 2 weeks in our home. We were beginning to lose hope when we finally found her up in our walk in closet on the top shelf cuddling with books lol. That shelf is like 6ft high off the ground...amazing.

Ya I wish I woulda had a video camera recording her ascent. That woulda been epic. There's nothing that I could see for her to climb on when I looked. She's a ninja

Lol not near as big as I'd like her to be. She's right around 1000g. About 989 empty I believe. She hatched in may 2010. Is that about what a female should weigh for her age?

I think its a little small but she coulda been a small hatchling or a slow starter.... My female pastel was hatched july 2010 and is about 900g right now. She was a holdback because she was small and a slow starter. She eats like a pig now! I think most will put on 800g by the time they are 1 year old... Idk though I am still a bit of a beginner when it comes to ball pythons.

Ok that makes me feel a little better. Ya she went off feed for 2.5 months so she's a little behind. She seems to be pretty hungry now so that's a good sign. Hopefully she'll be 1500 g by this season. Does that seem improbable?

Nope not at all. Fortunately I didnt experience that cuz I never noticed her missing. I was scared because I saw something in my closet that was big and alive lol. My brain didn't make the connection for a few seconds lol
