    pastel or citrus pastel?

    The guy we got him from said his parents are normal x citrus pastel and he thought this hug was a citrus pastel but didn't know for sure.

    from what I understand the citrus pastel is just another line of pastel, just like the lemon pastel.

    It is co-dominate so if dad or mom was a citrus pastel than any pastel offspring would be citrus pastel.

    Citrus pastel is the result of a lot of selective breeding, so if it was simply bred to a random normal, I think the claim it is a citrus would be a bit dubious. I would say, if it looks like a citrus pastel, you can call it one. If it's not quite up to par, then don't.

    I have a citrus pastel and it looks like the one I have. Mine has more white on the blushings, but it is very similar. Hopefully yours has a better attitude than mine does.
