Put him back in his cage, he'll be alright...

Is he in the process of shedding or did he clear up and he still needs to start? If he's in progress let him be until he's done, shouldn't take more than an hour. If he will shed soon (ie it's after his blue stage) then I'd go ahead and offer. BTW you don't need to feed outside the cage, most people prefer to feed inside as the snake is more comfortable and less likely to refuse.

Yeah I know about the inside of the cage thing....just a preference is all!!
The blue eye stage has already cleared up, I am watching him eat right now and noticed his old skin was starting to come off at his bottom lip, just didn't know if they act the same when it comes off as when they have blue eyes and don't want to be touched is all.
EDIT: He also started eating the mouse backwards and seems to be having trouble with it, I haven't seen him personally do it before, will it be ok?

Re: Shedding while eating
He'll be fine eating it. He'll just break the mouse's legs. My snakes eat their dinners backwards all the time. They eventually get the legs swallowed just fine.
