    Ahhhh!!! How could this happen??

So I know there are a million threads about dented eyes, but...
Tonight I come home, check all my snakes. Info first- hot side belly heat from flexwatt on a herpastat is at 89.7. Ambient is 81. Humidity is 63. She is in a tub, with a water dish, accurite thermometer, and two reptile basics hides. Fresh water every two or three days, no gaps in tub. I will absolutely guarantee that in the year I have had her, never a stuck eye cap. Believe me, I am anal retentive about checking sheds for eyecaps. I unroll and check each and everyone. She just shed July 6. Only thing different is about a week and a half ago, I moved her up to a bigger hide, which she wasn't really thrilled with for about 4-5 days. Soooo, if she smacked while investigating the new hide, will it be ok next shed? Should I worry? (I am already worried, she's my baby). What do you think? What would you do? Here is her set up, bigger hide is on other side-

Here is her eye tonight, I didn't notice it the last few days. Just tonight, maybe because the sun was shining in when I was checking her??

She seems fine, acting normal. Just ate on Sunday, pre killed small rat.

It's fine, a dented eye isn't a big deal. It will go away on its on soon.

I had a female normal with a dent in her eye. All I did was increase humidity and it went completely away by itself. No worries.

Thanks. I just worry. I am very, shall we say, obsessed, with eveything being right for them. Smacking it is from roaming with the new hide, is the only thing I can come up with. So will it straighten out shortly, or next shed? Never had this problem before.

It should sort itself out before the next shed. I would expect it to disappear within a day or two if your humidity is still at 60%.

We have actually been thinking about putting a few more holes in tub, because humidity has been close to 70 with water on cool side. Muggy summer has brought it up. So even if its a smack humidity would fix it?

Lick it. Seriously, when mine got a dented eye cap I had a strange urge to lick it, and it popped out

    Cute snake

Humidity has been between 60-70, can't imagine I want to go higher than that.
