Genetic swaps!
Does anyone do equal genetic swaps so that they can avoid inbreeding? I know ball pythons can be inbreed with minimal bad effects, but genetic diversity can't be bad either! Just wondering how common it is to swap out equally to gain more distant genetics!

It's not common in the BP world.
Hit up other critters (fish and other aquatics, dart frogs, etc) that focus more on the breeding of animals that look like their wild counterparts and you might find more of that.

I think its a good idea, tho i dont believe its a common practice. I love cinnamons but i know super cinnis can have kinking problems. So i got my male and female from 2 different sources and think i will trade up genes like every other generation just to see if it helps with my odds or not. I also would have no problem doing it with any other gene, as long as what im trading for looks as good as what i have to trade lol.

I like the idea. It seems like you could just place a classified ad for such a thing and maybe find someone willing to trade if it was a common enough morph.

I'm doing this with one of my mojos but not for myself. The guy I bought my cinni from last weekend asked if we could trade male mojos when they are ready so he can keep back one of his females and add new blood. Mine have a wicked head stripe and his have amazing tail stripes so we are hoping to combine them!
