Is this cage too big for him at the moment?
I posted a thread recently about this, but here is an actual picture with him in it. Its 4' X 2' X 18" . Those are 12" tiles so he is roughly 12 inches long. Is this cage too big for him at the moment? Should i let him grow a little more? Or will he be fine in this? I don't wanna stress my little guy out.

Snakes, being shy, might prefer smaller spaces. But every single one of my legged creatures lots to have tons of room. Especially my Leopard gecko. He is ALL over his tank. Uses all of it.
I think if you filled that up, it would be just fine for him to grow into. Monitor his weight, obviously, and the other concern would be UVB exposure. So focus on creating an attractive spot where he should be basking, then monitor. If need be, you can always use a temporary divider to reduce the size.
Edit: I have those exact tiles in my enclosure. You're going to love them! Did you silicone them in place and seal the edges? My only regret is I didn't have time to let silicone cure, so I opted out of it. Well worth it to seal the edges, haha. Otherwise it gets a little 'fun' to clean sometimes.

Yeah I've had people tell me they're beardies LOVE tons of space. But oh yeah his UVB light isn't in there yet, its in his other enclosure. I just put the basking bulb in to give some temporary light.

The biggest thing to remember is to not worry so much about a 'display' tank and worry more about how to give him the best use of space. My leopard gecko's enclosure is not designed so that I can see him easily. In fact, I've made it darn tricky on myself. But I made sure to load up the front and the back with stuff, in the center... Basically give him highways. I've seen too many beardie tanks where people put all the 'clutter' at the back of the tank, which forces your animal to run around the front. If you put stuff in the center, it'll give him more space to manuver. Just something I've done for my guys and they seem to really respond to it.
Honestly, I don't see a problem with a tank this size. Heck, I wish more people would give them more space rather than not enough
Keep us posted as you fill it up with fun stuff!
