Cannot wait for this project to expand! It's so fantastic that it worked out, beautiful morph with a great future. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for hets

Feel bad for the male, grows up quick, gives you a few clutches first year, does everything right and no faith in him.... poor guy. Lol

Good to see it proved out though, Im actually more interested in what selective breeding will bring, can we get a real red ball python? Maybe....

Wow while I read your artical I found myself in total despair for you even though I knew there was a happy ending. I am so glad it worked out for you, but I must say 70,000$ I sure as hell would have put him to the hets no matter what, no seriously no matter what, and right away to! However despair works in weird ways and so do snakes. Congrats and in 30 years when the price comes down I'll grab one, they are beautiful.

Congrats Brian! Pretty awesome. Shows you that you should believe in yourself and keep working it out until the end.

^^Yup. Awesome snakes. Let's see some pinstripe or spider thrown in the mix
    Herps are cool.

One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.
