That is just typical of a big pet store. They have protocols on certain things that need to be done. Some people just don't care about the humidity and temps. If I were to buy all the snakes that I see at pet smart (where I work as a stocker) I would have so many normals! They keep 3 in a tank and the pet co I went to there was 5 in one 20 gallon breeder so sad.

Don't get me started, when I bought mine she hit the snake with the box. I asked her why she did that and she said "I just hate these fkn things"...enough said
