A couple of quick questions! :D

    Hi there!

So, I had planned on getting a Bumblebee in September, tho I have also been considering an adult Spider and Pastel breeding pair instead. I just have a couple of questions - first off, which is more affordable? If the breeding pair proves to more expensive, I will most likely just get my baby Bee, but at the same time, I've been considering a breeding pair for some time.

I would be getting either the Bee or the pair from a show - can anyone tell me how much the pair might cost me? I'd definitey want ready-to-breed animals for the pair, or small baby for just the Bee.
I currently breed Crested Geckos, so I'm not a complete newb when it comes to breeding, lol.

Also, one other question - in a rack system, what does everyone prefer to keep their adults in? My sub-adults are being kept in a 41 quart each.

    Thanks in advance!
    ~ Liz

I saw pastels at the show for $50 and spiders anywhere from $100-$150. Then I paid $400 for the bumblebee I bought-female-767g.

    --edit--

Sorry, those prices where for babies and not breeder sized ones.

Still very young - around 200 grams, a foot long last I checked. They won't be ready for a couple more seasons, I'd say.

males can breed at around 500 grams. so they could be able to breed by nov/dec. i would say pick up a super pastel female at the show if you find one, and just breed your spider to her.

A Super Pastel would be my second choice, yeah - just not sure a female would be in my budget, especially not one that would be ready to breed anytime this year.

Will probably just get the Bee if I find the right one and save the breeding for when I get a better job, lol.
