Seems like they poop most reliably after a shed, meaning it could be monthly or less frequent. Mine has unloaded within 2-3 days of each shed since I've had her, with very rare/minimal poop in between. She pees more often, though, and eats every 5 days if that helps.

Some may poop once a week, some may poop one a month or so. It just depends on the snake and your feeding techniques. If its young and being conservatively fed, it might not poop at all if its using up all the nutrients. Likewise if you have a snake with a fast metabolism and you feed them very well, it might poop once a week.

Is it a baby? Our baby BP went WEEKS before pooping. I was really concerned something was wrong with her. but I think the poor snake was underfed from the pet store. And using all i gave her to grow. Since she shed- she goes a lot more "regularly" but its still every couple weeks I would say.

You baby will start to get a "fat tail" and then either after a shed or just on a random day, he will leave you a surprise!

I have had 2 ball pythons and when i pick them up to clean their cage they decide to "pay me back" for disturbing them and release the flood gates! But its an interesting thing to see! It is just kind of gross!

Is it normal that they pee and poop on one particular member of the family all the time? Ok well this happened twice. My daughter and I are new BP owners. He is about 10 weeks old. He has eaten twice for us and shed once. After about 4 to 5 days after eating my daughter was holding him and he released all over her. 6 days after eating my daughter was holding him again and he pee'd all over her. No poop this time but it only seems to happen when my daughter is holding him. It doesn't happen every time she holds him.

Is it possible the snake doesn't like something about her? Or is nervous when she holds him? I think it's pretty funny when it happens but my wife hates the smell.
