Rot Scale...

I recently rescued a normal female and she has rot scale. I dont know much about rot scale nor could i find much online about it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. These are some pics of her.

That snake needs to see a vet ASAP. You are going to need to get some meds form them

Alright thank you for the reply. Got her for free the kid who owned her couldnt take care of himself so i didnt think the snake had been taken care of. He was just gonna release her into the woods so i took her and tried to do some research, but i couldnt find anything

So i just got back from the vet and just so people know they recomended using Silver Sulfadiazine cream 1% apply twice daily and keepthe snake dry and no belly heat

It looks like a partially healed burn to me, but the pink color traces suggests possible infection. Did the vet take blood?

no they didnt they just told me to put that cream on her and that she would be fine and that is was a mild case they have seen far worse recover

Frankly, it does not look bad at all.

Silver sulfa is a great topical antibiotic to have on hand. While applying it you should also remove all substrate and replace with paper towels or unprinted newspaper. The animal needs to be keep scrupulously clean and dry.

Belly heat is not an issue if it is controlled.

If any off the redness expands or gets worse, antibiotic injections may need to be prescribed to prevent septicemia.

Me too, if it was a bad burn, that's what I expected the scar to look like...

probably a good idea to still put ointment on.

Ive been putting the ointment on 2 times daily and i use a rack system heat is controled and i use paper towels as substrate thanks everone for the input
