    Feeding schedule

So just out of curiosity I wanted to try something, since BP's are opportunistic eaters, I decided to try something, Im probly not the first one to do this.

I offered food on a schedule to start with, then I mixed it up and offered more often, then less often.
Then I tossed a mouse in with a BP that would only eat rats, after not being offered on the scheduled day, she took it. The rest of them would do the same in the following days,
I have been doing this for about 2 months give or take, and none of them have turned down a meal, even a mouse.
Keep in mind my big girl is 2800 grams, I feed her more then one mouse of coarse.
How many of you have acually tried this? And what was the out come?
Let me know what you guys/gals think.

I personally have never tried it, everyone get fed every Sunday. They down eat they have to wait till next Sunday. I work every day except Sunday and Monday that's why everyone gets fed Sunday. I know my albino, pastel lesser, my gtp, and carpet python would eat every single day of I let them. Since they are optimistic feeders most snakes would probably eat every few days if given the chance.
I over heard one breeder saying he feeds his females that's he's raising up to breed 2 times a week, they eat ever 3 or 4 days.

I do have a couple that will eat as often as i offer. But the ones that dont, are the ones that i did this with, the adults. Tthe babies are the ones that get fed on a schedule, 4-6 days.

I feed every 7-10days. I notice that when i go every 10 days the pickier ones seem to eat better. So as long as everyone eats at least 3 times a month im happy!

I like doing more random feedings because I get a better response. Sometimes though, they just are not hungry. Lol

I feed on a set schedule and have never tried anything that is as random as that but I dont have a problem with any of my snakes! I do have a couple mousers but will be working on converting them as my rat breeding gets into full swing so they are the only "problem" feeders I suppose...
