mean little hamster

I got a winter white hamster a few months ago and at first he was friendly, now he bites me every time i go near him. I cant even change out his food dish without him freaking out on me. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get my little guy nice again??

ha ha my man has 2 ball pythons and he has been trying to get my hamster for food too. I love the little guy just cant seem to get him to play nice lol

Hamsters have been so severely inbred, it's nearly impossible to find one that doesn't have issues of some sort.

My advice? Get a rat. They make much better pets.
