Ultramel x Pastel Genetic Stripe! Taking double hets to the next level.

Hey guys. Haven't been on much as it's just been a busy year. Thought I would post a picture of one of the clutches I'm really glad to see. This is my pastel genetic stripe on eggs this morning. I bred her to my ultramel. I also found one of my genetic stripe females ovulating form the ultramel today. So here's the start of a very long road to super pastel ultramel genetic stripes! The odds are only 1 in 64! So I figure I should hit one in ten years or so! lol. I'm chasing lots of co dom double het's this season. I'm waiting on eggs from a pewter ghost also bred by the ultramel. My Killer clown has bred a pewter ghost, Mojave ghost, Ghost, etc and my pastel enchi ghost breed one of my genetic stripe girls. I think it will be fun to see what I hatch out from these projects down the road. Anyone else breeding for double het co dom projects this season?

That should look great. Too bad it will take so long, but some things are worth the wait. I'm sure it will look amazing.

Thats very cool you should be getting some sweet snakes in the future! I will not be doing any of these breedings for a while but I do plan to do a lot with recessives including double codom and double hets and the works! Recessive projects are more attractive to me than dom/codom projects so next season I will be adding some sweet recessive and hopefully in a few years I can get a good start!

I was wondering what the enchi G stripe would look like - That's the combo I'm most excited to see you hatch out! Hopefully you will be the first !

Thanks guys! I have a nice pastel yellowbelly gstripe girl that should be ready next year. I think I'm going to run the ultramel to her as well in hopes I hit a pastel yellowbelly. That way I can chase the super pastel yellowbelly ultramel genetic stripe! Brings the odds up to 1 in 96! LOL.. Should be fun.

    Another one!

This poor girl looks sooo stretched out ovulating! Also bred by the ultramel so I should have a nice group to work with.
