    feeding time

    i got a bp from petco and im gunna feed to tomorrow so its on the same feeding times as my other bp and i was woundering wat i should feed it they were feeding it crickets for some odd reason and im kinda nervous feeding it..wat should i feed it and should i be nervous

    10-15% of their body weight is recommended.

    If you don't have a scale, try to pick a mouse/rat that is the same size as the biggest part of it's body

    Um, how big is it? Why not feed it whatever you feed your other BP?

    they had crikets in the tank and the little one is about 15 in and im gunna feed it alittle mouse i guess

    wait the petco was feeding it crickets? how big is your new bp? i assume it is quarantine from your other bp. it depends on how big the new bp is for what you should feed it. 10-15% of your snake's body weight is the best way to judge your snakes size meals.
    maybe its me but if the petco store employees told me they were feeding their bps crickets i would leave and never go back to that store ever, and report them.

    well i did report them cause i knew it was not right and to be honest once i saw that i had to get it out of there and yes it is away from my other bp and she/he is about 15 in

    sadlly im not kidding tho it was shamefull i woulda bought them all if i had the money and brought them to better home but i did report them
