That snake on the right is 100% a bee. Definetly not a spider

If it was just a Spider, I'd pick it up. It'd be a nice Spider.

Nope, no spider. It's a bee. Just a browned out one.

x2. If you look at the head of the snake on the right you can definitely see the slight fading. Classic bee. If you look at pictures of spiders you won't see any fading at all. Good looking snake.
Herps are cool.
One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.

Congrats on your new additions. That seems a bit pricey for a bee that is that small, male, and that browned out already though......
Looks like he could use a few rats too.

The bee is on the right he is just browned out, but a bee for sure the pastel gene lightens the pattern on the head, so that is the first thing you want to look at. Second do you see the tan color on the back that is typical pastel gene browning out regular spiders are darker than that.
