    snake wornt eat anything bigger than 20gs

    hi every one.my one year old normal ball wornt eat anything bigger than 20gs he is at 430gs i have tryed 30gs jumbo mice and 35gs weaners and i have tryed live/ft
    but he will eat 20gs mine all the time.i am haveing to feed him 3 in one go.can any one help pls.thanks

    Have you tried rats, what is your feeding method?

    i have tryed weaner rats wich are 37gs and he wornt eat.only the other rats are allwayes war around 70-106 gs each.my feeding methard is every 5 days till he gets to 700gs then every 7 days from then.all my temps are fine as well 32 on warms and 28 on cool side.

    I am not sure what to advise I am not an expert on this.

    Have you tried letting the prey thaw in the same room as the snake (the larger prey) then blow drying the scent of the prey towards the cage then zombie dancing it?

    Is he intrigued by the rat or mouse? If so, you might want to slowly move it away from him while he's tracking it. You could also try leaving it in overnight.

    Just give him a week between attempts.
